A Spectacular Vacation Retreat at Orleans Chateau: Kitchen and Dining Room

One of our projects at Orleans Chateau & Villas was recently profiled in a story in Miami Home & Decor magazine, so we thought we take the opportunity to tell you more about the design.

Take a peek inside this 1,600-square-foot, mid-century condo renovation that we completed for our clients from Canada. Just as the couple desired, the home’s monochromatic scheme is tempered with subtle splashes of color.

Since the clients spend so much time in the kitchen, this room became one of the main focal points of the home. Notice the simple and clean lines. We like the Arteriors clear-glass and chrome light pendants from Planet Lighting. And the Jalan Jalan barstools give the room more of a rustic and weathered feel.

Notice the white Italkraft cabinetry with its wood-grain finish and wave-engraved square chrome hardware. The countertops and island are Opustone’s leather-veined, frappuccino-colored quartzite. And we used Soho marble flooring to bring the design in the kitchen together.

In the dining area, a capiz shells chandelier shaped like a cone exudes a soft glow that radiates throughout the space. Also from Jalan Jalan, the organic dining table has a tree trunk base, which builds on the beachy chic vibe.
